i have a big forced air incubator like the high hatch incubators from mcmurray
i want to raise a few of pharaoh's quail for the freezer and to use on our property.
i have read where the incubator temp needs to be at 99.5 and the humidity at 60%. how much differential can the eggs handle and still be successful ?
my incubator has an auto turner, auto temp, and a humidity controller that is tied to a humidifier.
any and all help would be great and thank you in advance !!

We have a super-duper electronic digital GQF Sportsman as an incubator and use an old, I mean old, Sportsman with wafer thermostats sans turner for a hatcher.
When we hatch coturnix quail (1,000 eggs at a time) we do not change the settings from what we use for bantam chickens. 99.5/64% in incubator.
How do they hatch? Well let's just say it is more like cooking popcorn than hatching eggs.

Popcorn is about right! When you take the lid off the hatching tray they pop right out of it - be ready to catch. They are fast little buggers.
I also use a Sportsman and often hatch other eggs (chicken, guinea, pheasant) at the same time & always have good hatches. I do move the eggs to a hatcher to hatch.
