It's late in the season for this, but I just found a site that has a decent photo of a duckling with ''angel wing'' . Some of the info is a bit strange , but basically it's okay. They do list a lot of terms for it, including ''slipped or dropped'' wing, which is something entirely different, & call it a ''disease'', which it's not. Still, it's worth bookmarking.

After ordering goslings from Dave Holderread, I also ordered his booklet on wing disorders. So glad I did! Although I've had toulouse before, this area apparently has few waterfowl and finding appropriate feed has been difficult. The suggestions in the booklet were a big help as those big feathers starting coming in and weighing down their wings.

They are now a little over 4 months old and their wings are fine!
