To Breed or not to breed.........

I have a little flock of Anconas which I hope to get a setting from this spring. I have two drakes. One is black and white, beautifully marked, but has lately developed a need to Attack me. Very comical to try to do chores with a duck attached to my pant leg. (though makes him very easy to catch now) My other drake is blue and white, (female is also blue and white) He is big and healthy and gentle. He was a runt as a baby and now has surpassed all the others. His markings ain't as striking, but not bad.

I guess my question being, is aggression something that could be passed on, or do I just have a weird duck. Thanks, Jon

Since it's not a Rottweiler, I wouldn't worry. Actually, the more aggressive a drake is, the better breeder it'll be. He's just protecting what he considers his territory.
