GQF Incubator problem

I have a model 1202 sportsman that wont seem to stay heated up. I put another wafer out of another incubator in it andit was working fine yesterday but this morning it was back down to 75 degrees. Do you think that wafer is bad too? Thanks any help would be appreciated.

I would guess it is the micro switch the wafer activates.

would that be the switch right therebehind the wafer. a black snap switch?

That's it. Back the wafer off and cycle it by hand. In one position the element should start to heat. If the points are going bad it can't be trusted even if it starts working.

After about 10 years, I had to replace the switch on mine (same symptoms as you describe). It's not real handy to change, good eyesight and small hands would help.
