horse farm for sale

I just was taken on a tour by the owners of this great quiet country place. 2024 koring rd. evansville,IN He will come down to $185,600. Type on this address on google earth. I have enough land. The house was too much like I have now. Plus he has a awesome pole barn plus horse barn. I asked him how much property tax...$491 a year. I pay 15 miles away at least $ 2100.00 a year. If I had help I would buy this in a heartbeat. What I mean by help is not financial..it's physical.

Sounds like a great deal. I hope someone buys it to use for horses or ag. Nothing worse than good farm getting divvied up into house lots and strip malls by developers.

It's 3 acres. And yes around one side in the distance they are building new fancy homes. This couple really wants someone to value their place as a horse farm, like it always was. On the other side is a farm with horses. IT IS STILL VERY COUNTRY. Just in the distance someone sold their property to these subdivision investors. I walked the land with the owner and he was almost crying because he just bought this life long dream of having horses about 4 years ago,he had his horses, but his back went out. They are moving to a condo.

Indiana is beautiful country, too. I weren't a New Englander with elderly parents to help, I'd be checking out the place. Will hope the owners find a good buyer who will respect the land and keep it a horse farm or at least a rural homestead.
