Woodducks and Peafoul

I have my woodies and peafoul mixed in one large fly pen 50 x 90. I have 4 nest boxes in there but the peafoul stay on top of them more than the ducks. Are the ducks going to not lay because of the peafoul? Im thinking about building a new pen just for the ducks. Wondering if anyone has ever had them mixed together with success? thanks

It's peafowl. That pen sounds plenty big enough. Do you have other perches for the peafowl? Try hanging a few nest boxes up high, high enough so the peafowl can't get on top, yet low enough so the woodies can, if they want. Seperate pens would be ideal. That way you can add another species that is more compatible with the ducks, and another one that works better with the peafowl.
