Hi there.

Only a few months away...
Wanted to see peoples thoughts:

Any idea how many call ducks at the National this year?

Have people had a slow year breeding or a good year?

The NCBA National to be held at Columbus on November 8th and 9th is starting to shape up. We have sponsors for 24 standard and non-standard varieties of Call ducks. For a full list of awards please visit the NCBA website 2008 National page http://www.callducks.org/2008_national_meet.html .
The numbers may not be as large as NCBA Nationals in the past with the price of gasoline and the loss of several exhibitors but there could easily be 400-500 Call ducks shown.

Has anyone got any idea or heard what numbers are looking like for the Call National?

I think it should be a great show and my first!!

Wow.....600 call ducks already??

That will be something to see for sure!

Attended Columbus last year as a visitor and decided we had to show here!!
And the call duck national is hosted here also making it even better!

Wow this should be one heck of a show then!

Will there be lots of quality sale birds offered as well??

Thanks!

Call entries are real close to 700, may top that yet this week! May be a record breaking show as in the biggest call duck national, the biggest single decked show in History and the biggest show without an APA or ABA National. I project the Ohio National will have more birds on exhibit than the California APA National and the Florida ABA National combined. 360 some sale coops presold, lots of good birds for sale!
