I have been looking tonight for the accepted varieties of Dutch bantams with limited success. Can any one tell me what color varieties are currently accepted?

Thanks

I think the Cream Light Brown variety is also accepted...it was accepted at the big Indy show a couple of years ago when the Blue Creams were accepted...... :D

Yes That is correct the CLB are an accepted variety. There is a couple of other nonapproved varieties in the US that were bred from Holland bred birds . No other US breed bred into them. They are Buff Columbian and Blue Buff Columbian. It does seem that the Holland bred Millie Fleur Dutch will be the next variety approved as they are becoming very popular with several breeders. Rog

You can see the list here, on the American Dutch Bantam Society website:

Click on the links for the various colors and you'll see examples of what they look like.

Hello All,

In the Netherlands we have also the Buff Dutch Bantams.
http://www.hollandsekriel.nl/kleurslagenpagina's/buff800600.htm
The creation Buff is in 2003, acknowledged at the Dutch Bantams in the Netherlands. Mr. P.M. Schendstok and Mr. L.R. Docter have created this creation.

Here a few pictures the Buff Dutch I have. I have them from L.R. Docter.
I have these birds to improve my Buff Leghorn bantams.
I hope to make the Buff Leghorn Bantams smaller with them.
