I have a call drake that I got from a guy who had clipped one of his wings down to where there's about 1 inch of feathers left. I've had him for 6 months now and I don't think he has molted. Is there anything I can do or should I just wait for him to molt and hope they grow back?
Thanks for any help,
Chad

All you can do is wait. They will grow back when he molts.
Just pull them out. They'll grow back in 5-6 weeks. ( Once clipped, they pull easily. Use pliers if the stub is too short to grip.)

Ok, I'll try pulling them. Is bleeding normal? I've pulled feathers before (not clipped) and sometimes there was blood. Thanks for the info.

They only bleed when they're growing in & you can see it in the shaft. They should never be pulled or cut then.

Okay, thanks for the info. That's what I needed to know.
