when will the lambs arrive??

Hi there,

If i can get a couple of photos to load of my Damara sheep - and their udders.. maybe someone can tell me when they will drop their lambs? It seems to me to be an agonisingly slow wait....
This one has been bagging up for at least three weeks..

If that is a first time lamber, then she should lamb any day. My older ewes would get a bigger bag than that before they lamb. Have fun heling them.

none of them are first time lambers, most of them are 5yr olds.
These two at the back behind the tarp (one has her tail up) do have bigger bags than the sheep in the pics i posted before.

Do you think they might still get bigger than this?
This is the same two sheep either side of the black and white one. BTW Do yours all "bag up" to the same degree as eachother? or do some not let down much until the lambs are born? I can see the lambs moving around in there.
I have been trying to keep them in under cover when the weather is bad, for the last two weeks - but maybe i needn't have worried so much. Better to be safe than sorry i suppose, but they are eating me out of house and home...

8pm here and the first baby was born overnight (last night), he is small as he was one of twins, unfortunately the other one died , probably from the cold.
I couldn't resist posting the pic, as it looks like he has a Heart on his side, on the other side is the likeness of a diamond.

The black and white ewe above also lambed later this morning - beaut little baby too.

By "black and white ewe" do you mean the one with the black head and front end on pretty much a white body? It wasn't until I searched all your pictures and found the black head that I had any idea of what you were talking about since most of the pictures were of the 'south' end of your stock!
