Treatment if lice or mites suspected on skin?

A few lice have been found in the feathers of some of my geese. I know some are naturally occurring and nothing to worry about, but I'm wondering what others have found most successful if treatment becomes necessary.

There are several things that will work and it is often difficult to fine something that is labeled. Sevin dust if applied at one to two week intervals for 3 applications will usually do the job. I've used Adams Flea and Tick Mist with some success as well.
