Ann Charles is the APA State Representative of Arkansas. She has put together a website and is doing a great job in promoting interest in exhibition poultry in her state. She is putting together a page of articles on basic conditioning and summer care tips and I thought I would pass it along. I'll probably be in the doghouse for not asking permission but what else is new!!!!:-o

That is a really good article, Steve. I practice most all of those suggestions but it is nice to read that I am doing a few things right.

Hey Chad, how are you faring in the heat? The birds are faring better than I am!!!! LOL. They keep promising the 'cold front' will break this high over us by this weekend and drop the temperatures back down into the 90's but I am skeptical!!!! Everyday I get home from work and it is too hot to start working around the birds. I do my initial walk through to make sure everything is alright and check to make sure all the fans are running. As I make my walk through I just hum that little ditty from the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas to make the best of it...."Twenty fans a turning, their a turning". LOL.
