Giving eggs outside the Coop

I have build the coop for my chicken but they are scared to go in why is this problem.

It's new and strange to them. You'll have to give them time to get used to it. You might try putting food inside the coop and letting them go in and eat when they get hungry.

Put their feed at the door to the coop and gradually move it into the coop until they get used to spending time in there
