Hey Evy! You still the Call Queen?
It's been along time since I've been on here. I don't think I've been on since John aka "Skydiver" died, sure miss his stories and wisdom. Even as sick as he was he always had time to be there when you had a problem. He drew up plans for an awesome incubator but he never did get to build it, he sent me the plans and my youngest son is going to finally build it in his FFA class.
I'll be at the nationals. Robbie, (the youngest), is competing both in showmanship and with several of his birds. He is hooked bad on poultry so what could be a better early birthday present for him than take him there?
I just sold out of all my rare ducks. I'm going to start anew in the spring but going to switch to snowy mallards and East Indies. Going to redo my pens also. I still have my American Buff geese. Remember when we serched high and low for a replacement gander after my Jody was killed by dogs? Got McCloud from Texas, it's hard to believe he's over seven now he's such a stately beautiful boy. I also have a pair of Roman Tufted geese. Robbie is going to show one of their offspring at the show.
Didn't (or don't) you raise Salmon Faverolles? Robbie will be showing his pair of Bantam ones. Probably his Blue bantam cochin rooster. Trying to keep him down to a dull roar. I know I'll bring back more birds than what I went with.
