I am searching for any information I can find regarding the Sears-Roebuck Super Hatcher and David Bradley incubator but am having a very difficult time finding much of anything. I have managed to pick up three of these machines over the past year or so, a couple in pretty good shape, and am restoring them back to working order. I am very interested in the history of these things, i.e. manufacturing period, different models, availability of instruction manuals etc... but so far have found only a few tidbits of anecdotal information. Most of that was discussion about how someone replaced all the guts with brand new materials of one type or another, or about their reliability but nothing really about the machines themselves. I did visit a site about David Bradley equipment and while there was a great timeline of the history of the company, including it's relatively brief ownership by Sears, there was not a whole lot about the incubators. If anyone out there knows of another resource for some type of historical data on these machines I would really appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks,
Richard

Call Don at Sunny Creek. I've found him to have a wealth of knowledge about a lot of those old machines. Old guy. Loves to talk.

I have such an incubator (serial #1658)which has been in my livingroom since 1985. I would love for it to have a new home. Bar Harbor Maine, (207) 266 3907
