Even though I was in Ventura, we were showing chickens in Minnesota so I can give you a small show report. It's kind still kind of blurring since I was trying to soak in Ventura, hear constant show reports from my showing partner in Minnesota and dealing with a 'little duckie' crisis unfolding at another show going on at the same time  I know they had over 1100 waterfowl. The first time I ever went the Hutchinson show I walked the large waterfowl barn and made the comment...."These people have some SERIOUS waterfowl"!!! LOL I do know that Supershow Champion and Reserve Show Champion both went to waterfowl. Show Champion was a Caygua(Kershaw's Waterfowl I think) and Reserve Show Champion was a White Call by Charlie Hodum. I know I heard some of the other waterfowl winners but I had a whole lot to absorb this weekend

I was there with my silkies mainly. The overall numbers were 2,546 total entries.... 2,141 in open class and 405 in junior class. Judges were Bart Pals, Gary Overton, Don Karasek, and John Thomforde. 3 separate barns full of birds. We had people from MN, WI, IA, SD, KS, OK, IN, IL, and NE. I even got to talk to Lou Horton.
