We are working on the 2010 Heartland Classic, that will be held on March 20 and 21 in Cape Girardeau Mo. We have Tim Bowles from Ohio and Bob Carothers from Illinois to do the judging. Im thinking about going im just wondering if it is decent sized show?
I went to the Belvedere show last year and there were an ok amount of birds there but i was expecting more (i had never been to a show before) so im just wondering.

Belvidere was an APA National and had 3,000 birds. My lord how big of a show do you want?Other than the Ohio National, you will be hard pressed to find a bigger show. I expect Cape G. to have 1,000 or so birds.

I agree with Matt. Try helping out, being often only one of two or three people organizing and running the show, and then see if a 1000 bird show which you were allowed to be a spectator at, for FREE, is adequate.

Sorry it didnt seem like there were that many birds at Belvedere maybe i didnt see all of the birds there. Are there usually a good variety of birds there?

Well, you seen a good variety of birds at Belvidere, there will be 2/3 less at the Cape but a wide variety of breeds.

Dues to illness Ralph Sheriff can not make it, so we replaced him with Bob Carothers from Illinois. We also added a Sumatra State Meet and a Langshan District Meet. Working on some more Meets. Thanks Greg.
