What to do?

I am looking for any quick fix home remedies for a hen that wants to "set". She had been laying every day which is fine,then she stopped and decided to set on an empty nest. My dilemma is i have her entered in a show this coming saturday. What have been any experiences with judges thoughts. She still shows but has a definite "cluck". Thanks in advance. Steven

Give her a bath tonight or tomorrow. She probably needs it for show anyway.

thanks for the advice Neil, i wound up washing her three days in a row. Not only did she change her mind about setting, but she was very clean. By the way, she was Best SCCL out of 105 birds. Steven
