Reading the Standard for them, I don't see white mentioned at all except as a DQ in earlobes. There shouldn't be any white feathers anywhere.
hi I just got 2 roosters was told that they are show ready they have a few white feathers at the base of there tail is that normal or will that count against them thanks

Hopefully one of the lurking judges will jump in here. it's not a breed you see often. I'm only going by what I read.
They should not have any white feathers. If they do it's a defect not a D/Q. Is what you're seeing actual feathers or more of a white "fluff" at the base of the tail?

"Red", isn't the undercoat ( fluff ), supposed to be slate ?

Yes, the undercolour should be slate. You sometimes see that white fluff at the base of the tail in Partridge coloured birds.
Go ahead and show them and see what happens.
