Wish I could help you out, but I'm a "used to" also. I had the same problem, inability to find quality stock. That's why I did not show them. To much experimenting to breed the crested gene into them.
Since Swedish ducks are common as dirt, much to my surprise it is very difficult to find quality Swedish. I spent a year tracking down breeders only to learn they "used to" breed Swedish.
I had two breeders try to sell me ducklings from Metzer stock.
I've purchased the best I could find, and if I can find any better I will try to buy some of them. But this is all I could come up with, so they are going to have to do. They aren't garbage. There's a lot about them that is nice. So I will see what I get when I breed them and I'll cull hard.

I don't usually pay much attention to them, but I can't remember seeing any nice ones for about 10 years.
Patrick beat me. I was going to say I can't remember ever seeing one outside of Columbus. Don't see any Magpies since Bonnie Cavanaugh quit either.
The memory is fuzzy, but it might have been in NH of all places. I remember being impressed with the size and color. Don't remember the markings.
