    Default Tattoos On Feet

What about using a rabbit ear tattoo set to place permanent numbers onto the webbing of the duck and goose feet?

Would that be a disqualification at shows to have a string of numbers tattooed on the feet?

I doubt it would affect judging but I'd think you'd have to do it on top as the bottom would wear off or callous over. Just a dot or 2, similar to what you'd punch would work.

I've seen toe punching used, and don't care for it.
OR, why would you need a long string of numbers? Develop a short, simple code. That's what most of us do. You can get by with a couple of symbols. Three will do nicely. Designate year of hatch and parentage.

I just got my first tat on my foot a week ago. And i really don't agree with anything said in this article haha. I was superrr afraid to get it(i'm afraid of needles), so he offered to just to the needle without the ink to make sure i didn't jump. So he did it and the pain was eh. i was like okay i can do this. Then he does it. Yes, its painful, but its definitely bearable.

Birds don't have the sensitivity in their feet that humans do, otherwise, they'd be wearing sandals, too.

    Evy,
Have you looked around you lately? 30 some odd years ago, I got drunk and got a tattoo. That was before there was such a thing as lazer removal techniques. Back then, tattoos were considered trashy on a woman....guess I was. Anyways, I spent a fortune trying to have it removed and all I ended up with, was a huge multicolored scar on my upper arm.
Nowadays, everyone has ink. Personally, I still think it's trashy on women....when it's exposed, but I live in a different time zone. Itty bitties are cute, but big nasties, on what's supposed to be a woman, are unsightly. Especially in the business world. But, times they be a changin. I had piercings before they were cool also, but let em heal up an hair over. Everyone's got to grow up eventually.
I can already hear the hue and cry from the kiddies......

Unfortunately some people never do grow up. I personally don't like tattoos, but have nothing against people who get them. I work at a school and knowing how expensive tattoos are it does however bother me when parents come in and I can count five visible tattoos but yet their children are on free lunches, have no school supplies and are dressed in rags. Of course they also usually reek of cigarette smoke and have a fancy smartphone. Just my soapbox and I'll get off of it now.

Here, too. Used to be a tatoo parlor in town. They'd be lined up the 1st of the month, as soon as the welfare check came. Then off to the market where I worked to spend their food stamps ( card these days ) on stuff I couldn't afford!

I agree totally, too and with Angela and Evy. Tattoos are uggggggly, even on men in my never to be humble opinion. There is still danger of diseases from getting them and even a little with piercings, especially those usually considered STD's like aids and hepatitis. I think it is morally wrong to spend money on tattoos then expect tax payers to feed you or your kids. Or, to take care of their medical when they end up with a disease they got getting a tattoo. We all did stupid things as kids. I'm just thankful that a tattoo was not among mine. I don't have to live with my stupidity, thankfully some of it I can admit to now that Mom and Dad are gone and laugh about it.

Got a tattoo when I was 18 and in the Air Force. Joined when I was 17. A little devil on my left arm halfway between my elbow and wrist. Says " Born to Raise Hell " Been doing that for 50 years and enjoying every minute of it. Don`t plan on quiting either until they dig a hole for me and kick dirt in my face. Rog

I like ink. Some of the new stuff I'm seeing is extraordinary....just not on me.

Rog, you're not a little Devil, you're turkey!!! But, you know I say that with the deepest of affection.

It is very difficult to heal tattoos on feet. Scabs get picked up and that ruins your tattoo. You should get it done a little above the feet.
