Midget White turkeys

Looking for true Midget White turkeys, or even hatching eggs.

Sorry I won't be much help, This request comes up about every 2 years. There have been reports that at least a few Midget Whites exist but I don't remember any reports of where they were found. This board seems to be slowly dieing so I did this reply even though it is no real help.

Try the Rare Heritage Turkey group at Yahoo. There are also several listings for eggs on eBay.

Lotsapaints in Paso Robles California sells Midget White hatching eggs. I have absolutely no idea of the quality of her birds or of her ethics. No knowledge one way or the other, so you are on your own.

She's on BYC forum. That's the only way I know of to contact her.

She raises good horses, so knows the difference, but that doesn't necessarily mean she raises good poultry. A better chance than from a backyard pet owner, at least.

Ask to see photos of the breeding stock as I do not know of anyone who has them as small as they are supposed to be. The ones I has a few years ago were much larger than they should have been.
