2 weeks old and they seem hungry
Hi all,
They are 2 weeks old today and i'm wondering if i should start feeding them something else besides the starter and oats. They seem a bit hungry or unsatisfied somehow. Would love some advice, Thanks.

Have you tried pasturing them out at least for a few hours a day and let them forage on their own?

You are keeping feed out all the time for the chicks? If so, they shouldn't be hungry, but chickens like to scratch the earth, search for bugs, etc. Are they on dirt or in a wire coop?

Whats up, few questions
No, it is a common misconception. A new standard will probably not change C a huge amount to the casual observer. it should certainly maintain backwards compatability whereever possible. What it will, most likely do is standardise certain extensions (some POSIX C extensions spring to mind) which are commonly used.
Bear in mind a standard is exactly that - a document detailing the language. This is nothing to do with the practical side of things (compiler writing) at that stage. After the standard has been finalised and released, then it is up to the compiler writers to implement it... implementation is simple compared to creating the standard

One problem you may be having is the oats. While some scratch grains are fine (especially in cold weather) for adult birds, oats are not high in energy compared to some of the other grains. I would just feed the starter. Most starters are formulated to be used as a complete feed and supplementing it with the oats does nothing but dilute the nutrient content in the starter. I would cut out the oats, give them a few days to adjust to just the starter and see if that solves the problem. Also, are you feeding them ad libitum? (All they want to eat?)
