My personal tractor is a 1949 cub. I love it, great farm tractor. We also have for the farm, 1970 Farmall 444, IH 884 and a 1999 50H Mcconnell. We do have a John Deere lawn mower.

I don't have a real tractor on my puny 3 acres. I use a Bunton 52" commercial walk behind and have a Jacobsen 48" for cutting grass.
A 1982 Simplicity 42" for a small yard tractor, with a few impliments.
And a 1960 Desoto Adventurer, and 1964 nine passenger New Yorker Station Wagon.

We have a Farmall H, 2 Farmall Ms, and John Deere B ( hopefully restoring "soon" ), 2 Belaraus. And 1 pieced together David Brown.
My 9 year old got his first tractor last year, an old Jocobsen lawn tractor. The John Deere B is his hopeful project with my brother and nephew. My nephew also has another Farmall ( unsure of the model) that he would like to restore.

I just acquired a small Case 442 garden tractor (about the size of largest riding mowers) with tiller, mower, a single one way breaking plow, blade and disk. It is the smallest tractor that has been used on this 2.5 acres. I have hopes it will be the best for the job because most if not all of the major dirt moving has been done so I no longer need a front end loader or a dozer. I need the tiller for large area weeding and preparing the soil for planting. I no longer row crop my garden farming style. I have found that for a small garden short rows with dry walk ways works best. The water runs between two rows of a given vegetables planted about 6 inches apart. This method reduces my hoeing dramatically and seams to work fine for growing vegetables.

We have a little John Deere utility tractor, an 850. We also have an OLD beat-up Massey Ferguson 1105, that has taught me that the REAL name should just be MF, as in "THAT MFin TRACTOR!" It doesn't help that Hubby is not just not mechanically-minded, but rather mechanically challenged. Who else would operate a tractor that has sat since last Spring WITHOUT checking ANY of the fluids? Who ELSE would drive it until it shut down? (caused by no fluid in the radiator, although the hydraulic tank was empty also) Sorry, rant over, and we have it operating right now. Needs a new radiator, and a few more leaks fixed in the hoses.

We also have a 250c John Deere backhoe. That is a sweet and handy machine!
