Safety Hatch
I have a wood cabinet Safety Hatch Incubator. I purchased it from Inspiration Point Antique Mall Eureka Springs, Ar. for a mere $250.00 and had it shipped to San Diego, Ca. It was received in excellant condition only needing a couple minor boiler tube solder repairs, a new regulator screw since the original had been bent long ago, and new wafer. What a find !! Bits of light brown egg shell was found scattered in the hatching tray from it's last use. The incubator appeared to have been put aside in the farmers barn after having sprung a leak. After a bit of carefull preening, minor repairs, and a spot on the back porch she was ready. The 1st test hatch I choose to try emu. They came off beautiful !! After all these years this old wooden batttle-ax works like a charm. CLICK HERE for a bit of info, history and photos
